The trend of a “disposable society” has been popular lately; customers buy a product because it is inexpensive, despite being cheaply made and hard to assemble, and toss it into the landfill when it breaks. The Sing philosophy is nearly the opposite: simple, elegant designs that are inexpensive, but built to last more than a lifetime. To prove our faith, every Sing product comes with a 10 year structural warranty!

As a wholesale supplier, we conserve energy by producing large quantities at a time. In order to access small quantities of Sing Products, you may request us through local door and furniture retailers. If enough consumers ask for Sing products by name, we will become available to individuals at an affordable price.

Home Industry professionals don’t know how strong torsion box honeycomb is because it belongs to the airplane industry. Sing Honeycomb brings torsion box strength to the housing industry. The average honeycomb strength is 600psi for Sing Panels. That’s strong enough to drive a small car across a door panel. We can even use ⅛” surface skin without jeopardizing the integrity of our panels because our technology is so advanced. This means you can have strong, slim furniture.

Meet the Product: Sing Honeycomb Core

Though the information and variations available for Sing Honeycomb may seem complicated, the idea itself is simple: it provides equal strength and better insulation than solid wood by using natural wood fiber. Honeycomb Core consists of about 10% natural fiber surrounding insulated, sound deadened foam, which is then arranged into geometric shapes. The wood fiber is high strength veneer, and is often used in plywood. Sing Honeycomb is the strongest, most lightweight, and least expensive all-natural material in the world!

The Honeycomb Core material is made of thin wood veneer surrounding an insulated and sound deadening foam base material. The implanted vertical grain veneer is made of high strength wood fiber (veneer being the main ingredient in the composition of plywood) . It is the strongest, most lightweight, and least expensive product composed entirely of natural materials in the world. All Sing products are designed with three things in mind: simplicity, functionality, and elegance. Our designs are timeless; they are built to last hundreds of years, unlike most modern furniture, which ends up in the landfill within a few years due to the failing structure or going out of style.

Many Sing products are interchangeable, and can be used in different combinations to build different products. Sing Honeycomb furniture panels, for example, are designed to be put together in different ways to build a wide variety of furniture. All products are 100% collapsible for storage and take up little space while shipping. Honeycomb furniture panels are 1 ½” thick, but weigh less than furniture made of solid ¾” panels of particle board and other cheap materials; they are also less likely to break, last longer, and leave a smaller carbon footprint. Sing Honeycomb can easily be used as the core in the stead of solid conventional building materials (such as metal, concrete, cement, plastic, and wood). Our Honeycomb is less expensive than any other material due to the low energy consumption used in production and shipping.

Our History

 

peter_sing1992Peter Sing begins a garage-based operation to build the first Sing log cabin, on his own property. The project is recognized state wide, and is featured on Channel 7 News.

1995Peter Sing purchases a new factory and moves his operation to Lake Quinault, WA.

1998The operation moves to Tacoma, WA to operate its own sawmill and craft logs for homes.

2002 Sing Home gains the honor of building the featured home at the Peninsula Home Show in the San Francisco Bay Area.

2007Peter Sing patents and begins production on Sing Honeycomb Core.

2008The first line of strong, lightweight Honeycomb furniture is designed and produced.

2010The Sing company begins to utilize Internet marketing and websites to share its products with the world. A nationwide franchise/dealership program is also announced.

2011 A new line of collapsible, easy to assemble furniture is announced, made to be strong, light, and last a lifetime. An economy oriented line of furniture is also announced
